Healing with Reiki
Reiki is personal, practical and experiential. Reiki is not about theory, it’s about tangible results. Reiki is about experience. And this comes when we actually use the techniques.
Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a generic Japanese word meaning universal life-force energy, essence of the divine, or spiritually-guided life force energy.
Reiki is one of the most popular energy-healing systems in the world. It originated in Japan in the early 20 th century. This technique is simple to learn and everyone who has been attuned to it can use it. It is a one-to-one energy transfer where your body acts as a channel of energy from one entity to another through the hands. Healing with hands can be done by touching or simply by placing the hands about 3 inches above the body, working with your own energy field.
Practitioners normally feel a physical sensation in their hands and feet, and recipients often experience strong sensations of warmth and energy movement, with colors. Reiki is often described as a method of relaxation and stress reduction.
Once someone is attuned to reiki in a sacred way, they might feel a physical sensation in their palms, become aware of their inner spiritual connection, and use Reiki healing energy to heal themselves and others. Energy does not have boundaries.
Energy vibrations go beyond time and space and travel as such wherever and whenever we need them to travel to heal those in need. So whether you’re in close proximity or on another continent, you’re able to transfer the energy needed to heal.
The tradition of Reiki was an oral one and was always passed on from master to master and student to student.
Your Reiki healing session
Your healing session usually lasts about 1 hour. Sessions can be either distance or in person (depending on your location). Distance healing sessions are done via Zoom. You need to be relaxed, lying down, and ready to receive healing energies. I will have a cleared space (energetically cleaned) and all tools that I may need for this particular session.
I first detect any blockages in your energy centers (chakras), unblock and balance them. Once energy flow is restored, you are ready to heal yourself through me as a channel of energy: I am not the healer – you are! Each session uses the symbols that you need at that moment in time.
The session may include other Reiki modalities that I practice combined with sound healing, depending on the diagnostic that I do ahead of the session and communicate with you prior to our meeting. The selection of crystals to be used is also based on diagnostics that I do using my Shamanic divination method. Once the session is complete, we conclude with a debrief chat of about 20 minutes.
You may consider booking subsequent sessions based on your healing experience. You should give yourself enough time, and not less than 7 days prior to booking another session. This time in between sessions is called integration, and is extremely important to go through. It may take several days or weeks for the energy to adjust and for you to feel ready to move to the next level. It is your intuition and feeling to determine when are you prepared for the next session.
Distance healing vs. in-person healing
Can the same healing effects be felt in-person and virtually? Yes, they are all the same flow of energy. Energy is not bound with time and space, neither emotionally, mentally, spiritually or physically. Distance healing via Zoom is the same as an in-person session. Any additional information that gets revealed to me during your session is discussed with you afterward. For example, if any herbs, crystals, meditation or other healing technique may be of help to you to heal your particular condition.

CHARMINE
Workshops & receiving attunements
In order to become a Reiki level I, II or III practitioner, or a Reiki Teacher, one requires receiving the attunements in person (or distance) from a teacher who also received the attunements and trainings, and has been practicing this healing modality for some time.
The four levels of Reiki initiation
The structure of the initiation system has three levels of training. The fourth level is to become a teacher to be able to attune others into Reiki. Elements of this system include:
- initiation (attunements)
- palm healing
- symbols and mantras
- breathing
- cleansing
- meditation
Reiki Level I (Shoden)
This training involves powerful and sacred First Degree activating initiations. General information and the history of Reiki are discussed, as well as an overview of the Chakra system, Reiki ethics, the five principles of Reiki, the hand positions, how to do self-healing and how to provide a session for others.
Reiki Level II (Okuden)
Training at this level focuses on the Japanese healing symbols and on distance healing with Reiki. Permission must always be obtained prior to sending any healing energies. A discussion of the symbols and their origin, as well as their precise usage is given. We then discuss specific techniques of absentee healing, personal transformation (clearing unwanted habits, empowering personal goals and manifesting), as well as practice time for performing distance healing.
Reiki Level III (Shinpiden)
This level focuses on personal growth, transformation and increased enlightenment. This includes meditation techniques, a healing attunement, the Hui Yin, the violet breath and aura clearing. At this point, the master symbol is given, introduced and practiced, but the student is not taught how to attune others or teach Reiki.
Reiki Teacher Level (Reiki Level IV)
At this level, the workshop is divided into 2 days. Students are taught how to pass attunements with lots of practice time and review of the previous materials. Combined in this lineage with Level III, this level focuses on attuning others to Reiki energy and on teaching Reiki to others. An essay or creative project or presentation is written on why the student wishes to become a Reiki Master-Teacher and is discussed at length. The master symbol is introduced and practiced.
Advanced modules
These are the modules that can be attuned to and taught only to those who complete the Reiki Master’s level. Reiki energy in these modules is different than in the general attunements. These advanced modules have high vibrations and need a person to not only be attuned to the Third Degree, but also to practice Reiki for some time, so energy integration will be faster and attunements more powerful.
There are three advanced Reiki modules offered in my practice.
Karuna Ki
is a pre-recorded course; where attunement is done via distance “Chi ball” receiving.
Kundalini Reiki
is a pre-recorded course; where attunement is a part of the course, received as a distance energy in your own created sacred space, to reflect mine.
Animal Reiki
is a pre-recorded course with no attunement. Practitioner must be at Level 3 – Reiki Master
Dolphin Reiki
consists of two attunements for Level One (Practitioner) and Level Two (Master-Teacher). It is also a pre-recorded course; where attunement is a part of the course, received as a distance energy in your own created sacred space, to reflect mine. Once the Level 1 Dolphin Reiki workshop is completed and the practitioner has practiced this modality at least a few times, a student can be attuned into Master-Teacher (Level 2 Dolphin Reiki). These two sessions have to be separate, as Dolphin Reiki has high frequency vibrations that require the student to be well grounded and prepared to better absorb the energy for a deeper integration.
Note: All Reiki modules in our lineage can be done as distance attunements and taught via pre-recorded sessions (Usui Reiki workshops).
